Okay, I'll throw darts at you :D
Hey, Troll, don't get a job as a fortune teller cause you'd suck. Four loves, not too bad.
Okay, so this is my review...
The Like- Release Me (2010)
Best Tracks: He’s Not a Boy, Wishing He Was Dead, Don’t Make a Sound
Weakest Tracks: Trouble in Paradise, Catch Me If You Can
Well, this is my pick so I guess it’s safe to say I really like this album. It’s a perfect piece of retro girl pop, imo. Wishing He Was Dead, for example, could have been released in 1965 and you might have been wondering if this was the Shangri-las. Of course, they also play their own instruments so that would be one difference. The weakest tracks really aren’t weak at all, of course. They just pale in comparison to the other tracks.
So, yeah, I love this album (and the girls are pretty cute too). If you like The Like, I’d also recommend Are You Thinking What I’m Thinking? (I think Nea reviews this somewhere). That too, is an amazing selection of girl pop songs.
9/10* okay, so it’s almost perfect (the Word has spoken :D)
