Bruh, I'm not trying to sound superior, I'm just hoping to give you a different way to listen to an album that is amazing to me, and your past tries haven't done anything for you. I want people to hear None So Vile like I do, because it's amazing and I am dubious that your normal way of listening to albums will yield different results and so I'd just like you to like it too, and that might just require a different approach.

We're talking about brutal death metal after all and you've never shown the least bit of appreciation for a single album in the genre as far as I know, so perhaps a different approach is necessary. It couldn't hurt.

Sometimes, especially with jazz, it’s a helpful practice to focus on a single instrument

If you can’t get into anything else with this record just follow the drums

I guess this isn’t grindcore but with extreme metal usually the men from the boys are separated by the drummer

Probably, but with extreme metal you should probably just concentrate on the riffs.

well it depends on the extremity

like deep grindcore the guitar might as well be merzbow sometimes

Drums are always drums

Frownland 03-05-2018 07:32 PM

With death metal I definitely focus a lot more on the guitars.

OccultHawk 03-05-2018 07:36 PM

I mean I just listen to the whole package

This album is hella drums heavy though

It worked for me with Carcass, so who knows? I'll keep you updated. Hourly reports ok with you?

Just saying, if you really want to get into it and not just say that you tried for the sake of it, pick a song and then just try.

Carcass is a band best taken in relatively small doses.
