Just had to google when "Hours" was from. 1999, it turns out. So Bowie's 90's clearly weren't perfect.

I gave it a 5 on this poll. Bowie reaches his peak and Mick Ronson is unleashed.

Yeah, apart from the fantastic Outside his 90s albums can be easily skipped without missing much

He kept adapting and evolving. Loved pretty much all of it.

INNOVATION.

(that MTV video he did with Jagger being a major exception)

I'm actually looking forward to this thread getting to the 90's. I'm curious about what I'll think about all of those albums - even the ones I've heard before.

I remember liking some songs off Outside for sure. I wonder what I'd think of that and Hours now.

Outside is up there with his best.
Earthling isn't bad either, but not that exciting.
