3/5 for Hunky Dory and Ziggy now that is a mad ting.

Remember that it's only within the context of Bowie's discography. I expect to like several of his albums a lot better, so I'm going with a middle grade for those two.
Just never been a classic rock guy. These albums have the cards stacked against them from the start. It's a miracle that I like The Man Who Fell To Earth so much. |

I've already started on Aladdin Zane. I think you can expect a higher score on that one. |
I'd vote but I keep falling asleep trying to give this album a fair listen.

The album is a 5 simply because of Ken Scott's production alone. And Mick Ronson's guitar work. And Bowie. And the songs. And..... |
I'm pretty sure I have some comments on that other thread, but of course this is a five. This is Bowie's most famous album to be sure and in a sense this is his Sgt. Pepper, if you will. It isn't my favorite Bowie as it has to take second place to Hunky Dory. but it is nonetheless a classic. Favorite tracks are Moonage Daydream, Hang On To Yourself, and Lady Stardust.
