Something that I wish more musicians would experiment with is the talk box. It's so cool with so much potential.

Boss DD3 is the bomb entry level delay. Behringer is crap.
If you have the budget, this is the best delay pedal I've ever owned. https://www.sweetwater.com/store/det...7d96f84c9945f7 |
My favorite two effects are not pedal but Fender built in amp effects: the spring reverb and vibrato. (I know that Fender reversed the nomenclature, where the tremolo on the guitar is actually a vibrato; and on the vibrato on the amp is actually tremolo.)
... but as far as pedals: Boss DM3 (I know the DM2 is more coveted, but it's what I can afford) DOD MeatBox Electro-Harmonix Big Muff (made from Russian tank no less) Ibanez Tube Screamer TC Electronic Alter Ego X4 |

They pull through on sound and they only cost 20 bucks. Winner winner fried chord dinner.

PS: @Blank. I really couldnt agree more. Talkbox is a marvelous thing and not many people use it or at least play with. Maybe some kind of inconsistency between keyboard & guitar/bass? |
Ah so you're looking for an analog delay pedal. MXR makes a nice one. I prefer digital, it is a bit more sterile but it's also a a lot more dynamic.
