Not reeeaaally into hip hop, but this track was a lot of fun. Kind of a rambly musical progression, but it sounded great and I enjoyed the drums big time. Very non-boring dude on the microphone, which is something I'll rarely say about this sort of music. Still, I've got a feeling the hip hop that I will eventually grow to love will lie in a different direction.
Gift of Gab is a fantastic and underrated MC. Great flow and a lyric genius. The bastard's still touring with Blackalicious despite having kidney disease and needing dialysis three times a week. A true beast.

Seminal metalcore masterpiece from '97 that was hugely influential to the genre in the following years. Definitely one of the best metal and one of the best hardcore albums ever released.

I'm gonna get back to these soon enough, but I'm not home at my apartment this weekend.
I wouldn't listen to that even if you paid me 1,000 yen.

I get it. You want to torture him with that hipster drool. Sorry, didn't mean to spoil your practical joke.
I have to listen to anything because I said I would :(
It's not bad, but I don't feel like checking out more either. If there's an outright turnoff, it would be that strategically raspy designer croon. Reminds me of Bryan Adams.
I do like folk music and modern folk as well. But I'd be more partial to something like Warzaw Village Band or Eliza Carthy and the Wayward Band.

It's all about those pretty voices, and she's got that. Actually, this isn't bad at all. More like pretty good. I could maybe actually consider getting the CD. It's a pretty cool song both in terms of composition and the specific way it sounds. Kinda not too far out of my ballpark, considering certain other things that I like.

Pretty sure I've listened to this one before. Aside from those keyboard freakouts, I'm not too interested in this. Fun for maybe a couple minutes, but then I'm done. Put it in a Vietnam movie and it would fit like a glove.

Literally only the first song mentions Vietnam.

I noticed that and thought that it was exactly the sort of thing I'd expect in a Vietnam movie soundtrack.

Did you actually listen to the whole album?

No, but I made sure to find a few songs that seemed different enough from each other and listen to those. I've heard the whole thing before. I'm 90% sure you've made me listen to it way back some time.
