Their music works pretty well with Puppet Combos' games.

Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.

Danheim - Hringrás
(Dark Folk, Nordic Folk Music, Tribal Ambient)

I love the Wardruna project, and this album sounds like the dude who made it gave those records a spin or two. However, there are marked differences, like with the last track, which has an almost eastern European gypsy feel to the music. Just a heads up: track four, the song about life and death, uses real human bones as sound objects. Edgy.

Really fantastic “sound collage” Hip Hop album. Up there with the best albums of the year for sure.

I checked this out today. At first I was like oh **** some Tom Waits bull**** but it turned out to be pretty amusing.

I listened to nocturnal today. It’s really good but is it great? What separates this from the pack?

I guess what separates it is that I like it? I dunno lol. I don't have the emotional energy to analyze why I like the things I like right now, ha.

Pile
Green and Gray

Fantastic rock record.

EDIT: More thoughts. This album is much more fleshed out than their last two records. They really build a nice tempo with some really hard and driving tracks and then slip into more melancholy vibes with ease. There's a lot of bands that tend to do this and sometimes not well (Deafheaven) but I think Pile really commands full control over this record and they know what the f*ck they're trying to do and it sounds great.

Biota - Fragment For Balance

Biota have always been incredible and unique and the new album is among their very best.
Weird-ass folky something. Beautiful, but angular.

Don't sleep on it! Frown, Mord, Hawk...
