Spoiler for Colin Stetson ― Judges:

ziggywas - The first one is one of those hiphop tracks that just sounds too bland to me after a while musically. I like it at the start but after a while I want more action. I liked the second one better, but they both sound a little.. loungy, I guess?
Frownland - Same as for the ziggywas tracks.
To be fair it's partly due to the fact that it's not my kind of sound; some music that I listen to can be very repetitive but I don't tire of it. But then again I do feel like that music has more bite to it, the Fall for instance.
grindy - great, hypnotizing. It reminds me a little of the Velvet Underground :)
DMBFFF - I grew up with that Satisfaction cover, love it. The Boz Scaggs one is all right. Love this Colin Stetson track too, I should discover more of his music

ziggywas - My enthousiasm for the first one is lukewarm (but as always that might be because I don't concentrate on the lyrics at first listen), but I loved the second one. It punches and growls
Anteater - Sometimes it's a little bombastic but I liked it a lot, it surprised me in the turns it took. And it's so dynamic.
grindy - Cool, I especially liked the inventive percussion at the beginning, and the turmoil at the end
Dharma & Greg - Although it's not really my thing I like the strangeness of Boom Bip, and all the different weird voices. And about that Kottonmouth Kings song: I actually really enjoyed that. For some reason it's aggressive and trashy in a way that resonates with me. What the ****, I did not expect that

It's easy to listen to, poppy, and doesn't require intellectual engagement. Plenty of people will hold that against music cause they feel the need to require intelligence to justify their time but it's a feature and not a detriment. TBH it's also rap by and for white people and I don't think white people like to think that's also a feature but it kind of is. You know. If you're white.

Here's the real test.

^These songs don't get to me like the previous one did, they lack the manic agression that appealed to me I think. But for a second I wondered if I would discover my inner juggalo
