I've barely listened to Primus but my distaste for them is at least less than my distaste for Tool since at least Primus have some personality. But yeah **** Primus.

Bruh there's a new Tool album coming out August 30th supposedly. I say we make it a forum day and make it all about Tool. There's been like two at most Tool albums released while MB has been around so we can't waste this opportunity.

There is indeed a new album coming in August. If they go on tour and they come over to Seattle, I'll probably see them. Loved seeing them during their 10000 Days tour.

I know it's hard to understand looking back when you have your small peeps and arctic monkees, but imagine where you never listened to anything good, ever. It was all either glam rock or grunge and if you didn't like it then tough because other music doesn't exist. Now imagine that you only listened to that garbage, then you hear the opening notes of Sweet Child O Mine. It blew our minds. We were slaves to the sophisticated yet stripped down beauty that shook us to our cores after only listening to glam and grunge crap for all of our lives. It must have been what seeing Beethoven's first show except if he wasn't a frilly ***got. GNR was SO RAW that they really wiped out everything before it, especially when there's only crap on the radio. I know it's hard to understand looking back, but you should love GNR like I do because they're the hardest and most extreme band to ever exist, even more than screamo!

Imagine you were crouching down and putting your head between your legs and you find out that you can put your own penis in your mouth. So you proceed to do so and it escalates into performing fellatio on yourself. This thread is a lot like that.

The Residents are assclowns. That’s why I hate them. They’re the Carrot Tops of experimental rock. I hate them for being an embarrassment to the genre.

I've seen this album cover posted so much over the years that when I finally decided to listen to it, it didn't even come close to the amount of hype that it gets. Not a terrible album by any means, but definitely one that has been and continues to get peoples panties in a twist if you don't enjoy it as much as you're supposed to.
