Ironic that this IS a thread about Eddie Money and Ric Ocasek dying

AlexKx 09-16-2019 11:45 AM

Right. Any hints as to where, "The Rest In Peace Thread (RIP)" might be found on this website? Am I not allowed to ask in a post? I just discovered this place today and do not know if it is ran by fascists or not who will ban you at the drop of a hat or not like some other website discussion boards. Interestingly enough there is next to no one on those sites any more because I think everyone outside of their clicks were banned.

That link is 3 posts up, and yes we're all fascists here.

Frownland 09-16-2019 11:56 AM

It's in the lounge section. Click on the link that Psy-Fi posted and it'll take you right to the thread. It's the main place for celebrity deaths and stuff but new threads in the music forums about a musician who recently passed are fine too.

We're fascists here too btw, so try to avoid any spammy posts or self-promotion.

I’m an anarchofascist but sadly not mod material.

Sarcasm was never allowed in my household (unfortunately and fortunately) because it can become difficult to tell when someone is being serious or not. That communication is infinitely more blurred in text on the internet. For example: I think it is cute the link I was talking about was posted "somewhere else". Get it?

Frownland 09-16-2019 12:37 PM

Now you have the opportunity to hone your skills on this sarcastic bunch. The idea that sarcasm doesn't translate via text is just a myth perpetuated by people who take things too seriously anyways.
