Cream was like a flash of light. Here one minute, gone the next. They definitely left their mark, though.

What was the name of that group with Jimmy Page and Paul Rodgers? They did a few albums back in the 80's. One song, Radioactive, got some airplay. They weren't the greatest supergroup of all time, but they weren't bad.

miles davis in 68-70. He had tony williams, john mclaughlin, ofcourse miles, wayne shortner, joe zwainful, chick corea, etc. Thats a supergroup. Other than that, cream, mad season, Zeppelin in a way could be considered a supergroup in their own right, and I think the mars volta as well.

VH1 has put together a new reality series called Supergroup. I know that everyone is now sick to death of these shows, but this one will be worth watching. They put five musicians and their managers in the same house in Las Vegas and let them rock.
with this news, my new favorite supergroup has to be....*drumroll*

DAMNOCRACY
Sebastian Bach - vox(skid row)
Ted Nugent- guitar (motor city madman)
Scott Ian - guitar(anthrax)
Evan Seinfeld - bass (biohazard)
Jason Bonham - drums (daddys lil boy)

ok, so i havent heard them yet, but i am curious...
