Default SPIN's 35 most influential artists of the last 35 years
Predictably Nirvana is #1. Billie Eilish made the list (at 33) but neither Sonic Youth nor The Pixies (for example) did? She's more influential? And no rock bands from the 2000's or the 2010s, not even one? Every band on the list released their first album in the 80s or 90s. No garage rock or post-punk revival bands? But The Spice Girls made the list. Were they really that influential?

Thoughts? Rants? Tirades?
