There are probably no takers because you haven't given us enough information. What is it exactly you want to know? For example, if you follow the solo violin and orchestral lines in the clip below it's easier to see and hear what the composer's intentions are over the course of the piece than just the snippet you provided above:

Yeah. Define "relationship". Do you mean for what reasons do composers typically use solo violin in compositions?

I think they're just good friends. It's extremely platonic and anyone who suggests otherwise is just jealous.
