Any info on Nick Drake's 1968 Roundhouse gig?

My dad was a big heavy rock/folk fan in the late 1960's and early 70's.He saw a plethora of bands including Jethro Tull,Free,Ten Years After,Fairport Convention,John Martyn and Sandy Denny to name a few.

It was while I was discovering Nick Drake's music in the late 90's that my dad remarked that he had seen Nick play, albeit, briefly,at a gig at The Roundhouse in North London in early 1968.On questioning him further,he didn't seem to remember much about Nick's performance or indeed the actual gig but seemed to remember it was some kind of peace event.

I was stunned that my dad had actually seen Nick play being that there is no known footage of Nick as an adult to exist.

I have often wondered over the intervening years as to why Nick was actually performing there in the first place being that wasn't even a Witchseason/Island artist at this point..I have learned that Country Joe and the Fish were part of the roster and probably other established acts too so Nick was in estimable company for somebody who was an unknown.

I believe around this time,Nick was still studying at Cambridge although he had performed at the May Ball recorded ,I believe,by his friend Peter Rice.

The only possible explanation I can think of as to why Nick was performing there was that maybe he there was an 'open mic' section and Nick played at that slot.

Any help would be greatly appreciated and would lay some of my dumbfoundedness to bed.
