See the music is Tom listening to the radio in the first 1.20 minutes of this Tom&Jerry episode.

What genre is this music?
Can you suggest some more music similar to this? Maybe something in the direction of lower tempo like in the Tom & Jerry clip.

Just saw the Tom & Jerry clip. It sounds like big band jazz music to me. It was popular for a long time. A lot of what they played was swing jazz.

Here's a popular standard from one of the most known band leaders in the genre.
