With a 10k plus vinyl collection and CD’s.I will chime in . First off for me it is a fun hobby but it has its down side . Sound is not always great , prices of new and used are getting higher and higher. Crazy prices of High End audio . Sorry I don't have 100k for a turn table and 15 k for a MC cartridge .The vinyl snob AAA is the way. The VC critic on you tube(really).•Fear of Missing Out on an 100 buck reissue •The fight on which is better Analog or Digital. Other forums thats all they do is fight.35 k comments on a MOFI post. Which by the way some older recordings need a digital polish. An older stereo guy told me listen with your ears and not with opinions of others. I do enjoy a dead quite pressing but not easily obtained.
With that being said vinyl takes me back to a time where things were easier and you had to wait for an lp to be released.
CD’s and digital audio are just as enjoyable and easier to transport.
This is just the way I see it.
