Microphone not working through Apollo x6, help needed

Hello UAD,

I just rented my first studio yesterday, but have then run into some issues getting the microphone to work.
It's quite a big setup, but to simplify, I can see on the apollo x6, when we speak into the mic that it is connected properly, because the "Line 1" shows the output of the mic.
I then connect the apollo x6 with thunderbolt into my pc, I have the UAD drivers, and audio flows perfectly through, both inside of FL studio, and just standard computer audio.

But the mic isn't working even though I have armed the mixer channel and selected MIC/LINE 1 as input on the mixer channel in FL Studio. I tried actually recording, I tried checking that the external input was on, I tried reinstalling UAD drivers, I tried getting mic to work in other programs.
I have an Apollo Twin X at home, with a ****ty XLR phantom power mic connected and that works fine.

Anyone have any suggestions or know what the issue could be?
I haven't changed any settings in there so everything should be default.
I think the problem lies in either FL Studio or the UAD Console/control panel.

Check Hardware Connections:

Ensure that the microphone is properly connected to the Apollo x6, and that the XLR cable is functioning correctly.
Confirm that the Phantom Power is turned on for your microphone if it requires it.
Verify Apollo x6 Settings:

Double-check the settings on the Apollo x6. Make sure the input for "Line 1" is selected, and the gain is appropriately set for your microphone.
Confirm that the Apollo x6 is recognized and selected as the audio device on your computer.
FL Studio Mixer Settings:

In FL Studio, confirm that the mixer channel is armed for recording. Ensure that the correct input ("MIC/LINE 1") is selected for the channel.
Check the input and output settings in FL Studio to make sure they match the Apollo x6 configuration.
Driver Reinstallation:

Uninstall the UAD drivers completely and reinstall the latest version from the official website. Ensure that you follow the installation instructions carefully.
Software Conflicts:

Check for any conflicts with other audio software or plugins that might interfere with the proper functioning of FL Studio or the UAD drivers.
UAD Console/Control Panel:

Open the UAD Console or Control Panel and verify that the settings align with your setup. Ensure that the input and output routing is correctly configured.
Test in Another DAW:

Try using the Apollo x6 and microphone in another Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) to see if the issue persists. This can help determine if the problem is specific to FL Studio.
Apollo Twin X Comparison:

Since your Apollo Twin X at home is working fine with a similar setup, compare the settings between your home studio and the rented studio to identify any discrepancies.
Check for Updates:

Ensure that FL Studio and the UAD software are both up to date. Updates may include bug fixes and improvements that could address your issue.
Contact Support:

If the problem persists, reach out to the technical support of both FL Studio and Universal Audio for assistance. They may be able to provide specific guidance based on your setup.

Ensure proper settings in FL Studio & UAD Console, check input selection, and troubleshoot hardware connections for microphone functionality.
