Is there anything even close to Harmony Improvisator out there?

I found this vst extremely useful, but it is defunct. I see lots of apps like Captain Chords and Scaler, but nothing like Harmony Improvisator. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I wanted to post a link or a photo, but I guess I have to make 15 posts first... If you Google it you will find it.

Or you could just clarify but maybe that's too much trouble? I assume this is some sort of music software/sequencer something like that? You might have better luck in the technical section with instruments and stuff. But you can't post in the general thread and expect everyone to know what you're talking about when you give so little information. Always assume people don't know what you're talking about, unless you post in a specific thread or sub-forum where they should be expected to know.

That said, I'm not a musician so can't help you, but try posting in the instruments section as I said. someone might know.

Here's an interesting challenge: Try writing some music without the help of any computers at all.

Yes, why write a song when you can let a computer do it for you?

What's the issue with using computer based tools? This has the same energy of old people who say music without live instruments isn't "real music". Same old crap when electric instruments started to get used - "if you need an amplifier, it's not reeeeal music".

I've no problem with people using computers to make music. I just think a better explanation of what the OP was talking about would be good. Not everyone knows what "Harmony Improvisator" or whatever it is, is. Also, as I demonstrated, without any musical knowledge whatever, I was able to find a list of alternatives by using this great new service called Google. So why did they not try that first? Smacks of someone wanting someone else to do the work for them, which, to be fair, ties into not being creative or interested enough to write your own music. Not that I'm saying that's what this person is guilty of, but it doesn't start off from a position of sympathy, to my mind.

Well, when an OP calls someone a name for suggesting he write his own song, well, I guess that gets my goat.
