Mosh

I think it takes a good pit to make a show complete...
What do you think of girls in the pit or girls just on the very edge of the pit?
And what do you all think of hxc dancing?

David Frost 11-26-2005 10:05 AM

1. you are wrong. you obviously havent seen a "good show"
2. girls can mosh. girls can do whatever they want. it takes a real douchebag to think otherwise. let anyone express themselves as long as it doesnt involve hurting others just so you can show off your new spinkick.
3. "hxc" dancing has evolved over the last 6 years into an ugly thing. what was once a fun and interesting way of expressing like for energetic music has now turned into pseudo-macho *******s waiting for the first breakdown to impress all their friends with their new "move" that they have been practicing in their basement for the last month. hardcore isnt about violence. circle pit, sing along but dont be a ninja.

I concur.

Main part of what I agree on.

sleepy jack 11-26-2005 03:50 PM

Well i find hxc ninjas funny and entertaining...

riseagainstrocks 11-26-2005 06:31 PM

I fully agree with Frost.

is that a first?

idowhatiamtold 11-28-2005 01:35 PM

moshing doesn't mean **** except for pretntious idiots trying to prove their "fanship" status, and it interrupts a show... as for the girls on the side, they are who i make out with. lol

i think its a first for the both of us.

one_more_atrocity 11-29-2005 05:03 AM

moshing doesnt have to make a show complete, its totally going on your point of view and what your into, if your really into moshing at gigs as a way of expressing yourself or something like that and there wasnt one at a gig you may feel it was missing something, but if you really felt that way about a gig over something as petty as it not having a mosh pit you proberly werent at the gig for the music in the first place.
and if someone really really wanted a mosh pit, hell, just start your own!!!!!!

RealXenWarrior 11-29-2005 08:17 AM

you guys are just mad at kids who like to dance. so **** you. go away... shows sre not some outstanding test of ****ing social etiquette... they are where kids go to be kids... i happen to like like dancing so get away from me and get away from the pit... the pit is meant to be fun and energetic NEVER violent... when people dont pay attention is when people get hurt, otherwise its about brotherhood and enjoying the music being played with other people... it makes the experience so much more interactive and intimate... basically dont be mad because we are better than you cause you dont have rhythm and cant dance.
:)
<3.

So you're saying that those 300 pound long-haired metalheads don't go into the pits to crush the hell out of people?
Oh...you're saying they go in there for the intimate experience..I get it. Yeah, the intimate experience is when I got socked in the chest two weeks ago from one of those guys and had to sit down for two hours.
I guess you say they have better rhythm and dance moves too!

I'll tell you wassup when I go to the Dillinger Escape Plan/Between the Buried and Me show on Saturday nigga!

riseagainstrocks 11-30-2005 02:30 PM

you lucky jerk.

they aren't touring near me...tear.

All_Nite_Dinah 11-30-2005 04:26 PM

Circle mosh yes. Meat head mosh no.

RealXenWarrior 12-01-2005 07:42 AM

Bro i said NOTHING about 300 pound metalheads...
we keep those guys out of the pit iff possible... if talking about good ol' fashioned dancing. Thats what we do. no meant head testosterone driven ultimate fighter ****... just dance moves. noone should get hurt in theory if eveyone takes turns and watches out for one another.

Zezima 12-01-2005 08:16 AM

I'm to small for mashing. It seems fun(if i was buffed to the max), but too much for for listening to music. Jumping rules.

Yeah your just a little too small...I just don't want to get the shit beat out of me:laughing:

bungalow 12-01-2005 04:29 PM

I love the pit.....doesnt "complete" a show though

The pit at The Casualties was crazy...I almost died, no joke

RealXenWarrior 12-02-2005 07:35 AM

hell yea riseagainstrocks knows what im talking about... when a bunch of kids can just enjoy ****in around dancing to the music.... taking turns is the key to not getting your face smashed... and everyone knows that... so you take turns ****in owning in the pit... then let someone else go... its actually quite enjoyable.... and a release if nothing else.

So? Its fun, I go to shows to have fun, not to be judged and told how dumb I look doing it.

MURDER JUNKIE 04-24-2006 05:13 PM

Why not watch the band that you paid 12 bucks to see???

well all that tells us is the bands you go see have a shi.t stage presence, i mean i went to see alice cooper this year and i don't think whilst the guillotine was out and he was being beheaded on stage or whilst the baloons full of alice cooper dollar bills burst and lo and behold dollars fell from the sky i'd have wanted to have been prancing round like a twat and swinging winndmills like a 4 year old child.

Yes, cause all the local hardcore shows have that.

yes i gathered that they don't that was the point im making, when there's nothing on stage worth watching its fair enough to dance around like an idiot on pills but to be honest part of being a decent band should be being able to entertain a crowd, not just jumping round on stage but being somewhat interesting and entertaining to watch.

heh, s'alright, sorry if i've come cross a bit ignorant, it's just when i hcan't get into my bloody form room in the morning 'cause there's a bunch of hardcore kids in the way swinging their arms bout you grow to loathe it for what it is :) heh...
