I seem to have had the first four tracks of it in my library for some time, however I'll get onto the full thing.
I assume it's really good?

It's a new sound, for sure. Lots of CTTS fans seem to dislike their new direction, but many love it as well. I belong to the latter. ATRU was chaotic and fast. Decomposition is more melodic and epic, slower pace.
It's amazing if you ask me.

Saw CTTS a good few years ago in Edinburgh with TMORL and Trencher supporting them, was a fantastic gig made better by the fact the band refused to play on the actual stage and performed on the floor surrounded by the audience,like merrycaaant ive had the First 4 songs tracks of decomposition for a good while now, will have to give them another listen.

I looked into it, they released the first four tracks as an EP before releasing the full thing.
I can't say it left too much of an impression on me, it was good and there was the usual aspects of a CTTS record in there, the dual shouting/screaming, the melody and soft vocal breaks as well as the unstructured chaos but on first listen nothing in the league of As The Roots Undo.

The last track on the album though. North Star, Inverted. Where did that come from? It sounded more like indie pop than screamo. Very interesting indeed.
