sure the vocals are the same for both bands and so the vocals sound the same but Hot cross is has the better instrumentals in my opinion. The sound is just amazing.

They aren't crazy different soundwise, other then Hot Cross has more instrumental tracks. Saetia has cooler basslines though and better lyrics.

Then maybe that's why i like hot cross. I don't care too much for their lyrics and I definitely like their instrumentals

the way I see it, what's so great abuot being in a band and having a great vocalists when the instrumentals you have to back you up aren't all that great?

I really don't think you know what you're talking about. Hot Cross has like two or three instrumentals. None of which are that amazing.

On their CD Cryonics (also the only one I have of theirs) there's this amazing instrumental at the end.
Most of reason for liking them is for that.

That one piece is better than a lot of Saetia songs I've heard.

The last song on Cryonics is Requiescat which isn't instrumental...

the song I am talking about though is Frozen by tragedy. which is towards the end of the album.

Hot cross make better songs than saetia. They're a better band. end of story. <3 me some saetia and all but talent wise..they're not as good.
