They seem like the typical faux-emo acoustic stuff. At the risk of being hypocritical, i'll stop here.

If what Ethan says is true, the threadstarter needs to start listening to real emo music. Check the education thread.

I randomly picked a song to listen to and ended choosing "You Mean, Like Ponies and Kittens" and to be honest I liked the begining of the song, but once the vocals came on; it hurt my head. Now, I'm not one to speak. I can't sing. But then again I don't record songs either.

"Great new band" is a misleading statement. Sorry, if this is you or your friends, but keep at it.
