Give moses hardcore

K, so bungalow and Ethan have gotten me interested in hardcore and post-hardcore. So give me more, I already like The Fall of Troy and The Blood Brothers. So if anyone could suggest to me some more I'd be much happy.

bungalow 05-01-2006 02:38 PM

Well, do you want screamo?

sleepy jack 05-01-2006 02:43 PM

Added to Ethan's lists. As for straight-up hardcore, Verse, Sinking Ships, and Comeback Kid are the only ones I really listen to. And if you like blood brothers check out Neon Blonde.

bungalow 05-01-2006 02:53 PM

I'm not a big Moss Icon fan, maybe it's just the album I have, but I can't get into it.

What 'bout Stretch Arm Strong?

hookers with machineguns 05-01-2006 03:01 PM

Hahaha. Butttt brothers and fall of troy are NOT hardcore.

And cumback kid is not straight up hardcore. Moses, i'd stick with the traditional **** like DRI, MDC, Urban Waste, TSOL, Reagan youth, that sort of thing. If you're looking for more recent crap, check out From ashes rise, His hero is gone, cluster bomb unit, tragedy, f-minus, civil disobedience, behind enemy lines, wolfpack and so on.

Screamo is pussy. Check out Mohinder, Ottawa, and Jihad and spare yourself from the rest.

A_Perfect_Sonnet 05-01-2006 03:02 PM

Uh oh, looks like hookers has been on MX recently.

hookers with machineguns 05-01-2006 03:07 PM

Actually this is the only music forum i go to. I know you go there, cause you suck on cumback kid's **** everytime you're on here.

hiu 05-01-2006 03:11 PM

MX people wouldn't say Urban Waste unless it was me who said it.

sleepy jack 05-01-2006 03:13 PM

MX hardcore people would only listen underground bands with one EP out and then all agree with what one regular said then continue to go.

*insert underground band here*>>>blood brothers.

& Hookers if the blood brothers & fall of troy aren't some sub-genre of hardcore (techsexspazzisticdanceindiepseduposthardcore) what are they?

hiu 05-01-2006 03:21 PM

No Fraud
Roach Motel
Dicks
Big Boys
Die Kreuzen
Middle Class

et cetera.

mosesandtherubberducky 05-01-2006 06:04 PM

it's reopened, thanks RT for cleaning this thread out. Now suggest bands not get in genre wars.

oh and if you could up load stuff to ftp://imagiver:notastealer@mosesandt...ucky.myftp.org that'd save me some time and give you somethign to do, thanks

Wow, what crawled up and died in your vagina? I barely talk about Comeback Kid, let alone name drop them every time I'm on here. Quit acting like internet Hitler and go back to your Frou Frou thread.

hookers with machineguns 05-01-2006 08:09 PM

How cute. But I do apologize. I merely looked at your avatar and assumed you talked about Comeback Kid all day, because frankly I don’t pay much attention to your posts. I assume you mainly talk about some trendy screamo band that you just now learned about over at MX, post a myspace link, and say they “kick my ass”. Or try to work your junior-year-in-high-school equivalent song writing muscle over a bunch of 15 year olds.

But I’ll go back to my Frou Frou thread. And you can go back to your….oh yeah that’s right, you only listen to one type of music. How convenient. And speaking of internet Hitler, good job PWNing those noobs on their emo knowledge. That was quite manly of you. But to be more effective, it’d be nice if you knew a thing or two first, because frankly, for a self-proclaimed emo expert, you certainly show very limited knowledge about the origins of emo, that being hardcore, as demonstrated by your earlier statement on "straight up" hardcore. Why don’t you post that link to RAMBO again, oh yeah that’s right, you didn’t know who they were.

I am no emo enthusiast. But remember, internet scene kids never win. Well I’d love to stay and chat with your one-dimensional-pretentious ass, but I have to go back to my Frou Frou thread. Hopefully this post gets left up for a few days to sink in a little.

Check. And mate.

mosesandtherubberducky 05-01-2006 08:12 PM

^after that no genre disputes. MOSES WANTS HARDCORE!

A_Perfect_Sonnet 05-01-2006 08:14 PM

I'd point out everything wrong you said, but it would cut into my "myspace time".

adidasss 05-01-2006 08:15 PM

The band is probably named after the CIV album of the same name since they are both fairly similar bands but I can't confirm it.
