right on. the "gettin' our tour on" 7" (also the same as the split with usurp synapse) is probably my favorite material of theirs. "josh's dream party..." is such a good time.

the last few songs they recorded before they broke up are really great as well. a majority of screamo bands' final material is junk (jerome's dream, usurp synapse) but not NP's. They went out like champs.

wat, i beg to disagree, i think Usurp Synapse's latter stuff sounds fairly alright.

yea it seems like a lot more people have been getting into screamo as of late. Seems like most people who first get into it only know of pg.99 orchid and city of caterpillar, I guess because they are pretty much staples.

What county do you you live in, Perry Hall?

it depends on what you're referring to. the first 6 tracks (i think) off disinformation fix are garbage. as well as those few new songs they did when they reformed. the vocals are some ****ty half-sing or something, and musically, it doesn't compare to any of their other stuff previous to that. if you're talking about their actual releases prior to that, you're right on, it rules. the split with Jerome's Dream, which was their last actual release, is absolutely killer.

Disinformation Fix was awful. That's all I've heard and all I want to.

Disinformation Fix is downright terrible. They split up songs, renamed a bunch, and just plain old didn't put some songs on there. Its dreadful. Seriously, don't judge that band based on that release. Listen to their split with Hassan I Sabbah, which is one of my favorite releases of all time. "This Endless Breath" is a really great disc as well. Their split with Emotion Zero is their earliest stuff, and probably their most conventional to listen to. In fact, all this talking about it makes me want to go listen to it now.

i will listen to that **** with the half screamed vocals because i like it. haha

wow how do you like that, did you go to perry hall high?

yes the new recordings on disinformation fix are pretty much posthardcore. they sound like an entirely different band. I think they're ok but not nearly as good as they older sound. it wouldve been better if they wouldve used the better recording budget that they had to maybe rerecord some old songs or just songs that captured their older sound but of course bands mature and all that and I think in Jeromes Dream's case, the vocalist couldnt handle screaming his lungs out anymore. I didnt know they didnt include some songs from Usurp Synapse on disinformation fix, i feel gyped.
