They're different that's for sure, and I get what you're saying about the emo/indie feel, the beginning of their songs remind me of something Broken Social Scene would do.

It's good, not exactly my thing, a bit too different for me.

I wanted to tear my teeth out. I didn't know what I wanted to do. And I want to remember it. I never want to forget it. I never want to forget. And then I realized... like I was shot... like I was shot with a diamond... a diamond bullet right through my forehead. And I thought: My God... the genius of that.

Angry Son is one of the most perfect songs I've heard, which is probably a really stupid input to have to this thread, but it is. You wouldn't question a thing about that song, it's just .. great. 'Mazin band.

Anyone who's seriously into them they rereleased Live Blue Universe. It's like 18 dollars and they made 2000, which sounds like a little but for a band as not popular as they are I don't see any need to rush.

I might get that.

I listened to their discography recently, and it gets better all the time. The way their songs build up is bliss. And yes, Angry Son is the best emo song ever. Even better than Drink Deep by Rites of Spring.

oh, and my band covered angry son.
and sorry in advance for making the vocals too shrieky, it was our first show, i was listening to too much discordance axis at the time, and i don't have any recordings of the latter shows where i didn't use shrieking.
