yep i knw...dats why im giving my opinion  emo is originated in hardcore punk but there are some difference between Emo and Harcore though...and emo is da father of screamo...screamo is a mixed Emo and Hardcore so screamo is originaly called Emocore... :) so there for emo/screamo is almost different from hardcore |

The South won the civil cause I said so, and that's how I relate the civil war to myself, so it's obviously true, and history can blow me. |
Im new to this music scene but here's some stuff (not sure if it qualify's or not):
Kill Hannah Alexisonfire Coheed And Cambria The Mars Volta :\ Dropkick Murphys (but they sound a bit folk to me) Atreyu (does screamo count?) Deathcab For Cutie Dream Theatre |
Kill Hannah is just like...Alt Rock
Co&Ca is not emo/hardcore The Mars Volta is sooooo far from Emo/Hardcore Dropkick Murphys are punk arent they? Deathcab is Indie? Dream Theater is Prog Metal Atreyu just sucks |
I love you scott, though Death Cab is on a major label so they're more like soft rock. But its a common mistake.
