You know, I never get around to deciding a favorite band cause my taste jumps around a bit, but at the moment its probably City of Caterpillar or Pg.99, one or the other, Minute-Hour-Day-Week-Month-Year(the Faiths in my Chest) made me cry a tear or two. oh, and I don't think that we are really off topic, I think you just don't know enough about Emo music for you to have any clue what any one on this forum is talking about.

Probably like Rites of Spring. My favorite is pg.99 though.

That's weird dude, it invokes some form of anger in me.

Well, I listen to a lot more screamo than I do just plain emo, but my favorite emo band would have to be Jawbreaker.

As for screamo, its too hard to say. There are just too many good bands. I've been listening to 1905's Voice way too much in the last few days, though. That's a ****ing amazing album.

I just recently downloaded Voice because I've read good things about it, but I'm not into it so much. I downloaded Complied Fragments 1997-2003 by Envy and I'm loving it to death, though.

That was my opinion of it for a while, but I ended up absolutely loving the album in its entirety.
