Default American Hardcore

American Hardcore (2006)

I just got this from netflix and burned it because I'm a thief like that. For those that don't know, it's a documentary on hardcore punk from 1980-1986. It doesn't go into emo which would've been nice, but I think it came off really well. The only people that seem to hate are the ones who think their scene wasn't covered as well as LA's and DC's.
If anyone's seen it I'd love to hear what you thought, and if you haven't, pick it up.

It was no Decline of Western Civilization but it was good. I enjoyed watching it.

Yeah its a good watch, reminded me of some great bands I don't listen to enough. Kids who use the term hardcore to describe Every Time I Die and and Eighteen Visions should be forced to watch this.

Someone needs to make more obscure 80s hardcore threads.
