yes, the lyrics!

a usual question: how can you relate unintelligible lyrics to the audience?

lyrics are important, but not all the music that i/we like is tolerable in mainstream sense. if we clearly say it then it wouldn't have the same effect as it does, to you and to the listeners. its just like an art or a painting. it's abstract, it's either you just enjoy it or dig the real essence of it. it's reinventing the blueprint of music.

plus, it sounds cool too, we all agree?

For the longest time I had no idea what Circle Takes the Square said because the lyrics notes in the As The Roots Undo album are just indecipherable, but when I actually did find out what they were, I was completely blown away that the pure emotion that they displayed through their vocal and instrumental work also had beautiful phrases and imagery to go along with it.

In another argument though, I have no idea what Aghast, D'Amore, Daitro, and Belle Epoque are saying (words being French and all), but I still love their music and I can still feel that real emotion. So I can work with both.
