So far within the past 4 weeks: (might be more i'm unaware of)
I Would Set Myself On Fire For You Hot Cross Me And Him Call it Us Funeral Diner Planes Mistaken For Stars Swedes With Horses In Her Eyes (a.k.a. "histories") Seeing Means More Louise Cyphre (hiatus/RIP) Except Louise Cyphre, the rest are American. Barely any good screamo left here that is still active/alive. THUS BEGINS NEXT SCREAMO WAVE. Srslyz. Plz? ![]() PS: if you read the VLV page, it says some of the dudes are working on another project, but it's more "beautiful music." I'm assuming that means more underdark album style...so I'm assuming it'll be along the lines of a post-rock band. |

It is indeed a bummer these amazing bands are breaking up all at the same time, but when you look at the brighter side of things, a lot of younger bands are getting their **** out there and its sounding awesome.
so yes, i do think the next screamo wave would begin soon. hopefully. |

Are you in that band? The quote at top of the page is by Ian MacKaye! Palatka just put it at end of a sweet song...It was spoken (and can be found on youtube) at a 1986 Embrace show.
And I only expect that one of the Funeral Diner members goes onto to play in a shortly lived screamo supergroup. It happens in it's usual periods of time and it's about time for another small tide of those. |
