What are people digging these days?

I can't get enough of Go It Alone, I'm trying to move on though seeing as they have announced their split. Been listening to a lot of Miles Away and Ignite too.:afro:

I've gone off MLIW. For a "progressive" hardcore band they seem to get old fast. The past week I've mainly been digging

Shook Ones
The Legacy
Strength 691
The Steal
FC Five
Faded Grey

I like Endpoint and Articles of Faith and it kinda stops there.

can_i_say 08-11-2007 09:22 AM

and Turning Point surely?

swim 08-11-2007 09:36 AM

Never heard of. I checked out hardcore because punk bored me and got into emo because hardcore wasn't quite there for me.

Bane of your existence 08-11-2007 09:38 AM

Los Olvidados!
And I just started listening to Blatz again. God I don't know how I ever stopped.

It's as emo as hardcore gets without actually being emo.

swim 08-11-2007 11:21 AM

wow. Yea, they remind of a Endpoint/Dayspring sort of thing. This is the kind of stuff I think of when people use the term melodic hardcore.

swim 08-11-2007 05:47 PM

Do you happen to like Car Vs. Driver? People consider them emo but they sound like one of those like evolved Dag Nasty bands.

I like to jam to my Throwdown
