I've only heard 10 songs and the split with Twelve Hour Turn but I enjoy both. Not Waving but Drowning is probably my favorite song by them.

one of the first emo bands i listened to. never really got into anything but 10 songs though.

I used to have 10 Songs, never got into it. Twelve Hour Turn, on the other hand, was a bit more melodic and more in line with my tastes. Perfect Progress, Perfect Destruction is pretty darn good.

I'm in the middle of reading "Eeeee Eee Eeee" by Tao Lin... He references this band a few times. I was pleasantly surprised.

thanks for mentioning this because I respect this contemporary minds taste in music and I just bought it myself haha, is it pretty good?

Yeah actually. His book of short stories "Bed" is really good as well. They're very quick reads, but very interesting.
