3 Questions

~3 Questions listed at bottom if you don't want my life story!~

I have a few questions on the music industry. I've sung in a couple hardcore/emo bands. Mostly stuff with a From First to Last style because I can sing a lot like Sonny Moore. The first is about agents... now I recently left a band, and was thinking would it maybe be better to use an agent to find already existing bands that have some talent looking for singers/guitarists as opposed to just throwing one together outta some random semi-talented musicians, and if so how does 1 go about finding an agent. I've been singing since I was 3, and the hardcore/emo style since I was 14, in venue's since 15. Currently only 18... just finished school. But I wanna pursue a career in singing, or music in some way... but I think my voice is my best shot.

So.

1. If you're looking for a band, or starting one, does it help to have an agent?

2. Can a music agent help you track down bands to audition for and such?

3. How would I go about finding an agent?
