You know you guys can PM when a thread on a ****ty metalcore band gets bumped or made. Same for anything that doesn't belong in here (e.g. My Chemical Romance, Hawthorne Heights, etcetera.) I'd like this section of the forum to stay shitfree.

bardonodude 02-25-2009 02:16 AM

Bit unfair on members who actually like metalcore but, personally, good call

Alfred 02-25-2009 04:38 PM

I've always found metalcore to sound more metallish than hardcore, and therefore I think it should go in the rock & metal section.

Good call I guess.

Original metalcore bands can stay like Undertow, Mean Season, Struggle, etc but nobody makes threads about those bands because I'm pretty sure I'm the only who likes them.

enemyat_thesix 02-25-2009 06:05 PM

you have too many posts

jackhammer 02-25-2009 07:11 PM

Can i do the same in the metal forum?

Rage Against the Machine 02-25-2009 07:17 PM

lulz, I take it the Brokencyde thread is gone.

bardonodude 02-25-2009 09:00 PM

i just downloaded their 7". They're pretty good, the beginning of death from a friend sounds like its strait out of a dillinger song...even though of course these dudes came out way before. J.P. has been in a lot of great bands. They're the epitome of what the term metallic hardcore was originally meant for.

Farfisa 02-25-2009 09:36 PM

I'm all for this as well... I've never really cared for metalcore.
