sorry if some of us question the validity of your attempts when your first observation is that you can't take a band seriously. that's probably not the best strategy when trying to learn a new genre.

Yeah, if you're really trying to get into real screamo, you should start out with Underoath.

i havent listened to these dudes until just now and I really like them. screams sound like dawn treader which definitely aren't for everyone
