Listen to Sunny Day Real Estate. Their debut album, Diary, was uploaded in it's entirety on YouTube.

Something Corporate
Jimmy eat world
The Academy is...
New Found Glory
sum 41
Alkaline Trio
Acceptance
Reggie and The full effect
Motion city soundtrack

I still occassionally listen to the old stuff of those bands, just nothing new.
I still listen to paramore, coheed and cambria, My chemical romance pretty often.

what are some good emo/pop punk out now?

None of these are emo (except for Jimmy Eat World and Weezer's second album). Emo is dead, but you can find some independent stuff on last.fm discover (Tigers Jaw and We Were Skeletons, perhaps).

I'm seeing Tigers Jaw as they're opening for the Menzingers in August, I checked out some of their stuff when I heard and they're not too shabby, although I don't care too much for emo, the pop stereotyped or otherwise.

I need something like Algernon Cadwallader and Cap'n Jazz, stuff like American Football just sounds terrible to me.
I enjoy the more ''trashy'' style of playing, also they have pleasent screams.
