Default OVENS/Tony Molina

Ovens, they're this cool band I spin in plug all the time. Tony Molina is the mastermind behind it all and has a pretty awesome solo album that dropped late-ish last year. He also does some hardcore **** in bands called Caged Animal and Lifetime Problems. All their songs sound pretty much the same, laid back vocals crooning about lazy loserdom, doing PCP while stalking an ex, getting wasted, feelin ****ty, slackin off etc; crunchy power chords or jangly, classical sounding acoustic strumming and noodling that build into twin harmonized guitar leads ala Thin Lizzy. Sounds pretty rad, imo.

The songs are short, check um out. Some of my favorites:

His solo album, Dissed & Dismissed, was one of my favorite albums last year. Ovens is awesome!

Ovens released a new 7inch this month- check it out on their label's bandcamp:

Melters

More of the same type songs, no new directions really but still great.

Edit: These are old songs, just rereleased and haven't been seen in a while .
