Opinions? Personally, I think the screaming could use work, but Jonny Craig's clean vocals are absolutely magical.

By the way, I'm completely new here at Music Banter, so I'm looking forward to getting a feel for the community. I'm excited to have found an active music discussion board. :)

Not a fan. I really can't get past the screaming. Stylistically it just isn't my thing.

The screaming does seem a bit unnecessary at times, but the song is good.

That's some of the worst screaming I've ever heard and the clean vocals have no edge to them at all. Sorry, not into this band.

Dude, Dance Gavin Dance is the bomb! Can't wait for Acceptance Speech.. it's coming out on October 8.

I lol'd HARD at Charlemagne's reply - the clean vocals are the best he will ever hear in his entire life and all he can say is there's no edge? Who the hell cares about edge? None of you here are able to pull it off like Jonny. I gotta admit though, his voice has gone downhill after he started going solo.

As for the screaming - it's meant to be unique and not sound like the crappy screaming bands you dig.

Personally, I think you've placed this in the wrong forum.

Dance Gavin Dance are experimental, not "hardcore" or "emo".

Anyway, I feel sorry for all of you missing out/not liking it.
