The problem is that what is really "emo" is a matter of opinion. And just as with most other topics, everyone disagrees. I'm not supporting one side or the other. I'm just trying to be objective in this big mess.

yea i know waht u mean. thats waht hes tryin to do help ppl find what he considers to be emo. but noone likes to listen to him.

I listen to him, its just tiring when everyone complains about the emo scene all the time. What good is complaining going to do about it anyway... If the emo scene bothers him so much, he can go start some emo music threads. Ill post in them, there just arent any around here at the moment.

^ I think it was already brought up and rejected. It would probably just turn into the same thing as the emo forum. "This band is hardcore, this band isan't". "No your stupid, yack yack yack".

I don't think it should matter, all the forums are pretty piss poor at the moment. I don't see why you couldn't just have a hardcore/emo forum.

because hardcore and emo are both different genres and pretty much no one listens to either of them.
