i was going to post some bands......but i doubt the person that posted this will ever return to this site.....so...im passing.

.angie. 06-11-2005 09:25 PM

again, we need to set a certain amount of posts before new people can make threads. its stupid how they make threads, and never come back again.

PerFeCTioNThrUSileNCe 06-11-2005 09:44 PM

i think the post count before a newbie can make a thread should be at least 100. by that time most people are accustomed to the ways of Musicbanter. there have been tons of these people that post 1 stupid ass thread and then never come back to the site.

phoenixflames 06-11-2005 09:51 PM

Well, this thread has turned into complaining and bickering just like the others... Threads on this site never end well.

.angie. 06-11-2005 09:56 PM

okay, im gonna change the subject then..

well, if this matt person ever does come back, he should really check out the bands listed.

PerFeCTioNThrUSileNCe 06-11-2005 09:57 PM

yeah well...most of the threads that end like this one were originally posted by the newbies that never come back.. so the subject changes when people realize that they are giving suggestions to people that are non existent.

.angie. 06-11-2005 09:57 PM

i just got the hawthorne heights cd yesterday, and im liking it a lot.

phoenixflames 06-11-2005 10:00 PM

^ What are some good songs off of it? I'm thinking of buying the CD when I get some money. I've really only heard their stuff on PureVolume, and I've liked what I heard.

.angie. 06-11-2005 10:06 PM

life on standby
niki fm
screenwriting an apology
speeding up octaves
wake up call
the transition

.. its all pretty good to me.

PerFeCTioNThrUSileNCe 06-11-2005 10:47 PM

funny how the songs that get the most media play, are usually the worst ones...or at least the ones that no one likes on the cd

phoenixflames 06-11-2005 10:52 PM

^ Yeah, that happens sometimes. I think part of it has to do with the fact that you hear them all the time and then you grow to hate the radio song. I have many CDs that I prefer alot of the virtually unknown songs over the more recognized ones.

I like that song. I don't listen to the radio at all though, so I couldn't say if it gets too much airplay. So much of radio is junk, or they run any good song into the ground. I have stopped listening to it.

.angie. 06-12-2005 04:59 PM

^ i don't listen to the radio either, everyone just says that song is so great. it's definetly not my favorite song on the cd.

phoenixflames 06-12-2005 05:02 PM

^ Well, as I said, I haven't listened to the album yet. If the other songs are even better, I'm sure its prolly a good CD. Hopefully I won't be disapointed!

shut up thats been said three times.

and yes, ohio is for lovers was one of the songs i was implying, and it is definately not one of the better songs on the cd, at least in my opinion of what ive heard.

.angie. 06-12-2005 05:24 PM

nope, its not. i think my favorite might be 'niki fm.' im not too sure yet.

xbang.bang____x 06-13-2005 01:28 PM

Hey...i'm a new noobie as you say, and i guess yooh kinda have something against them but i swear you won't get rid of me easily
Ohio is for lovers is a pretty good song, but my favourite Hawthorne Heights one is probably Life On Standby

You're a newbie whether your a nOOb has yet to be determined. Avoid making stupid posts and show respect towards other members and you'll do all right. Oh, And try to avoid creating any threads until you get accustomed to the ins and outs of this forum, which me means sit back, observe, agree with everything i say and i won't unleash the fury of 1,000 drunken monkey-locusts on you.

xbang.bang____x 06-13-2005 01:39 PM

Okies then, don't worry i've been on forums before, i'm not a er...forum virgin
So i shouldn't be so annoying since i'm used to it and all
