que ironico! im reading that book right now. the vagrant chapter did go on fffffffffooooooorrrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeevvvvvvvvvee eeeeeeerrrrrrrrrr. it is pretty informative.

I havent actually read the book although I have thought about it But hey vagrant has made a great contribution to the emo/hardcore world and should be recognized accordingly

Its andy greenwald, good book, red it a couple times (ha ah) he writes for spin mag too. All around its a good book, good history, good thoughts, and so it ranks all around.. good

I dont ever read, not even for school i cheat on test. But I actually might try to read this book. Ive only read 2 books for fun in my like. Lord of the flies and the Hobbit.

yo i just finished reading it. its amazing. defintely hit the nail on the head when it comes to where emo came from. and my fav chapter is definitely the weezer one. ive always liked weezer and share the idea that pinkerton was an extreme dissappointment. though they really arent emo, weezer is classic and i'll always like them...

Yeah but its how weezer effected tghe punk-emo scene.

hah my favorite line in the book is... teenagers were given eyeballs to roll them and school/families/lives to complain about them
