Great stuff.

What are you favorite XTC albums?

I really need to hear that Hitchcock/Partridge record. Hitchcock will be playing in my area on March 1 and I'll be there, barring some emergency.

Favorite albums... Black Sea, Drums & Wires, English Settlement... Skylarking has its moments. I like their early '80s punk-pop stuff the best.

As a tribute to the late Ian Gregory (see the Rest In Peace thread), brother of XTC's Dave Gregory and the drummer on The Dukes Of Stratsphere recordings, here's one of my favorite Dukes songs:

XTC inventing The Dukes of Stratosphear just to out-psychedelic everyone else is still my favorite plot twist — most bands get a side project, they got a whole fictional back catalog.
