Default ***The Recommendations Thread***

What do I post here?
1. "I heard a really cool song the other day, it was ____ by ____, and it was immaculate. Get into it!"
2. "Hmm, the bands people talk about here suck. Let me post some of MY music from my one of my playlists."
3. "Everyone tells me this band is really good. Are they blowing smoke up my azz?"
4. "I'm too lazy to make a thread. One that probably everyone will ignore anyway. Meh, I'll post it here."
5. "Hey I know that song! Dude, *high-five*."

Why are you here?

1. "I'm bored with my music, and I need something fresh."
2. "I'm a noob and I don't know what Indie is."
3. "I want to see if anyone is listening to the same obscurities as I am."
4. "I'm on a shopping/downloading spree, and I need HELP!"
5. "Ah [insert name here] just made a post. I better see what he/she is bitchin about now."

You guys should check out Ambulance Ltd, if you're down with catchy indie/pop that is. Recommended songs: Ophelia, Primitive, Stay Where You Are, Anectdote

nine black alps and ambulance ltd I agree with heavily. Only I disagree with is the Rakes... I found it quite average. Don't know most of the others though so will check them out!

A few albums that are amazing but not well known are:
Elefant - Sunlight Makes Me Paranoid (Indie rock)
Colder - Again (Indielectronica)
Hood - Outside Closer (Uk indie with a bit of electronica)
Reindeer Section - Son Of Evil Reindeer (straight indie, almost twee)
Soulwax - Much Against Everyone's Advice (Indie Rock)
Sparklehorse - Good Morning Spider (US Indie)
Wheat - Hope & Adams (US Indie)
