Default I Am Kloot

Hello,
Has anyone else heard of this band? They're from Manchester I believe, they are an absolutely fantastic Indie band. I currently just purchased two of their records and I've been listening to them ever since. "I Am Kloot", the self-titled record is one of the best records I have honestly heard in a long time. I also managed to pick up "Gods and Monsters" which, by chance, happend to be the double disc edition so, I also got a DVD with that. Anyway, so, what do you think of them? If you've not heard of them and you're wanting to check them out, I'd recommend checking out songs such as 'Twist','Proof','From Your Favourite Sky' and 'Stop'.

I've heard of them.

They're pretty good. Not like OMGZITZsOGUT but I enjoy a listen.

Pfft. I also happen to judge entire ethnic groups on one individual.

I am Kloot is one of my farite bands. Very expressive music with strong existential feelings.

I've only listened to one full album, Sky at Night, and to "86 TV's" from Natural History. But, if all their music is like this, they're easily the greatest indie band ever. At least, they are among the few indie bands that I still appreciate, alongside Arcade Fire.

Terrific little band. A song that isn't on any album (IIRC) which is their best IMO is Same Deep Water As Me.

I heard these guys in Manchester and Keighley a few years ago. The singer had a brilliant, unique voice and since then I've heard them on Radcliffe and Maconies show on radio 6 quite often. Their most famous track is 'Proof'- it's a belter.
