I saw Morrissey about 3 years ago and I thought he was astounding. And as for the music hes been writing over the last few years I think its his best solo stuff yet.

He doesn't sound the same, he sounds like someone doing Morriessy covers.

Well we'll have to agree to disagree on that then.

Yes but i'm new to Morrissey's solo stuff I only have Viva Hate, but I have seen videos of him live from recent concerts.

Well when i saw him I thought he was perfect. And I still think hes as good now as he ever was as far as solo work goes.

My friend very recently saw Morrissey and he said he sounded great. Barring his recent vocal problems I don't know why you'd critisized his voice. I guess it's gotten slightly deeper, thats what happens when you've been singing for 20 years your voice gets better.

sweet_nothing 03-16-2008 03:48 PM

Your voice gets better? Explain John Lydon, his recent rework of Anarchy in the UK is terrible.

Lizzie 03-16-2008 04:44 PM

How has John Lydon's voice gotten worse?
He has never ever had anything you would call even close to a good voice
It's not just now,
His singing has always been terrible

I've heard that Morrissey is still sounding good too
I've never had the privlidge of seeing him live
But I've never heard anything bad about his voice

I liked his voice during his pistols and pil era.
But the rerording was just awful and didn't know an artist could butcher his own song.
