Thoughts? Much weaker than Fever To Tell, but better than the singles would lead you to believe. Only a few really good songs though, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs EP is still their high point.

Their first album was f*cking horrible.

Shame coz the EP showed promise.

I won`t bother with this one , this type of stuff got old ages ago.

Horrible? It wasn't groundbreaking, and it certainly isn't one of the best albums to come out in a while, but it wasn't horrible.

This album is much closer to the EP than Fever To Tell was. The album's awful second half really brings it down, though.

To tell you the truth it bored me to death.
Any edge they had to their music was ripped right out of it

I only have two complaints about Fever To Tell, one, how repetitive it seemed to get after a while, and two, unlike Show Your Bones it doesn't get good until it's second half. But I'd never call it boring.

Actually, I take back what I just said. It's the middle of Show Your Bones that's not very good. It does seem to pick up again at the end.

I must seem very indecisive about this.

Well thats the thing about new albums , some things you like instantly , other times they need to grow on you.

Yep. I guess I'll wait until I've listened to it a bit more before I make my final judgement, then.

Well I think Gold Lion is beyond exception, that song made me a 10 year old and a movie director all in one fell swoop.

The bottom line is, I've not been excited about a song like this in a long long while.
