I've heard one song off of that, 'Rollercoaster', and liked it a lot, never got round to finding out more about them though.

They are very heavy for my tastes, but if you are into more shrieking fem-rock then they are your band. I can see the Yeah Yeah Yeahs similarities especially if you don't listen to the whole album, but unlike the Yeah Yeah Yeahs Sleater-K is just too noisy and crashing opposed to Karen O.'s intermintent screeching mixed with quiet reflectiveness.

Ok, got 'The Woods' and it rocks to high-heaven, theres an 11-minute epic called 'Lets Call It Love' which is to die for.

Their song 'One Beat' is really addictive too.

This is my favorite band. I own all seven of their albums. Mostly a fan of their stuff when they were on the label Kill Rock Stars. Dig Me Out and The Hot Rock are the albums I would recommend to start with. Even though I think The Woods is an amazing album, I don't think you can truly appreciate it unless you are familiar with their older work.

Dig Me Out is an incredible record. I usually don't dig this kind of music, but there's something amazingly addictive about that album.

I've heard one song of theirs before and I really can't remember what it was called. Great tune though, they're on my 'to investigate further' list
