Live shows (lyrics, album, member, quote, band)

Did anyone here attend the show in San Fran at the Warfield? If so...I have a question. Before the Magic Magicians went on, there was an album playing while everyone was setting up the stage. Maybe they play this album at every show before the first opening band. But any idea who was playing? It sounded like...My Bloody Valentine meets Air meets Nico. I don't remember any of the lyrics but any help would be good.

I should have also said the show was for Modest Mouse and The Walkmen on Saturday, July 17th
