Should I pick up "Carnavas"? I haven't heard much, but what little I have sounded alright. Wondering if this album is worth picking up on a whim, or not. Also, I guess they have a new one coming out in a few weeks... anybody heard it? Should I just wait for the new stuff?

Gah, so many questions...

I was actually wondering that myself... worth it on the strength of liking one song or not? Or waste of money? I really like the whole vibe about the band though... sound kinda mid nineties pumpkins and bit emo - ish, come to think of it if the whole album were like the one song I've heard I'd probably love it....

I really liked Lazy Eye, their single off Carnavas, so I'm D/L the album right now. I'll let you know what I think.

Excellent. Looking for a solid album, if not I'll just grab a single or two.

It's good, but I really think it really bears another listen. I can tell its going to be one of those albums that grows on me, and It's definitely one of those albums that picks up momentum as it goes along. a bit monotonous in the beginning. There's not a lot of diversity as far as song structure and instrument timbre, but hey Indie rock isn't really my fave genre. I would def. recommend it to an indie rock fan. BTW the production quality is outstanding if that's important to you.

Lazy Eye is incredible and Panic Switch is pretty cool. As for a whole album, I don't think I would buy one just yet.
