The Replacements

These guys don't have their own thread?

Please to Meet me! I.O.U, I don't Know, The ledge, and of course Alex Chilton... I don't think there's a bad song on this album.

Tim's a little bit odd but... Come on. Great band.

Pretty much most of what the Replacements released was gold. Let It Be is a great, fun album. Probably my favourite Twin/Tone Records band.

I've heard a handful of songs and they're awesome.

Can anyone up something?

I have Let it Be and Tim. I'll do that soon.

Don't really like Tim that much but I've been looking to hear Let It Be anyway.

I find their more popular albums to be too energetic. They all sound the same. I like Tim. Few replacements fans are fond of Don't Tell a Soul, but without being compared to the rest of their albums it its pretty good, albeit a little homogenous.

Yeah i love them to bits, im really getting into them lately. My fav songs at the mo are Left Of The Dial, Here Comes A Regular and Alex Chilton. Would have loved to have seen them live, their shows had a chaotic reputation.

Only song by them I really really like is: "I'll Be You"...that was the jam when it came out.

That was the closest thing they had to a hit, it's prob not their best song tho.

"Sixteen blue" and "Unsatisfied" from let it be are killer tracks.
